Mean Remaining Strength Estimation of Multi-State System Based on Nonparametric Bayesian Method

In a stress-strength system, the mean remaining strength is key to deciding safety threshold for system continuing operate. this study, multi-state composed of two-state components discussed, and studied. Applying multidimensional signature, dynamic signature form established, in different states deduced. Moreover, nonparametric Bayesian method used estimate system. The results Monte Carlo simulation show that can reasonably its estimation effect better than method. A practical case based on fiber dataset presented as an application proposed methodology.
